First I want to thank all of you who have expressed well wishes after my shoulder surgery on July 16. You'll see the sling until September 1 when I start physical therapy. I should make a full recovery within 6-9 months (so says the doc). God has blessed me and my family through your prayers and I am extremely grateful. Thank you.
This post comes on the heels of Taste of Big Spring, our joint mission project with FBC Sheridan Arkansas, and FBC Forsan with co-operation from staff and members of Iglesia Bautista La Fe, Spring of Siloam, and Iglesia Bautista Central, and the Hospitality House where the work took place. Throughout the week of VBS, women's crafts, construction and visitation, some 51 souls came to know Jesus Christ as their Savior as the Holy Spirit worked through the efforts of all those who participated. All the Glory is God's. God made it all work. God made it all happen. God, as always, made true His Word that when Jesus is lifted up, He draws people to Him. Praise God! There will be a time in the near future when a worship service will be dedicated to testimonies and sharing memories of the week.
