First Baptist Church has a wide variety of small groups for you to connect with.  Small groups are an where you will find like minded people walking a path similar to yours that offers support, accountability and fellowship. 

  • Small Group Bible Study

    Adult small group Bible study classes are offered each Sunday morning at 9:30am.  On your first visit, our Guest Central team will get you connected to a small group that meets your needs! 

    Email our Minister of Discipleship, Jonathan Raffini, and he can connect you with the appropriate small group leader. 

  • FirstKids

    FirstKids Preschool and Children's Ministry at FBC is focused on combining high quality teaching with action packed Bible study. FirstKids offers classes from birth to sixth grade.  We take pride in offering a welcoming and safe environment for children to learn how much our great big God cares for each of us.  

    FirstKids meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30am and Wednesday evenings from 6:15pm to 7:45pm(doors open at 6:00pm.

  • Students at FBC

    Our FBC Student Ministry seeks to engage community youth with the Gospel through a combination of high energy and in depth Bible study.  Students are challenged and equipped to build a firm biblical foundation to build on as they move towards adulthood.   FBC Students meet regularly on Sunday at 9:30am for Small Group Bible Study.  Wednesday evenings, students meet for Bible study and some recreation from 6:15pm to 7:45pm.  We offer many other events throughout the year and can't wait for your students to join us!

  • college ministry

    The college ministry at FBC seeks to serve and support local college students while they are in our community.  The college ministry meets every Sunday morning at 9:30am, and as needed to meet the needs of our college students and athletes.

  • music & worship

    Our Music and Worship team is a diverse group using their talents to lead our congregation in Worship each week! You can get involved in our ministry in several ways. From playing or singing to behind the scenes support, we have a place for you! 

  • Discipleship classes

    First Baptist offers occasional Discipleship and Bible study classes on Sunday nights at 5:30.  Check out our events tab to see what is currently being offered, or email our Minister of Discipleship, Jonathan Raffini, to see what is coming up next.

  • Blessed Hands Deaf Church

    FBC partners with Blessed Hands Deaf Church in reaching the deaf in Big Spring and Howard County.  We are pleased to provide live interpretation of the Sunday morning Worship service at 10:50am.  For more information, visit the Blessed Hands Deaf Church Facebook page. 

  • Discover FBC and New Member classes

    Discover FBC and New Members classes are offered periodically as needed.  These classes are where you will spend time really getting to know First Baptist Church, what we believe, and how we operate.  After your first visit, you will be given more information on upcoming classes that you might be interested in.
